Hey all!!

It's great to see the EGC family growing! We have several new members and the HL2 server seems to be busy just about every evening. We have some really great players and all of them are great folks.

Just as a side note, I added a Pay-Pal donation box on the left. Please consider throwing a few bucks every once in a while. Sinbad is paying the bill for our server so it would be cool to show him how much it's appreciated!!

Servers News
TF2 server is up and configured for the most part. There are still a few things we're working on like admin sounds and fast d/l. It gets some action but it seems the HL2 server is still getting the most action.

Speaking of the HL2 server, there are still tons of maps on there. Keep a note of maps that can be removed. There are lots on there that people don't like. Lets hear about them so we can make room for others.

Joining EGC

How can I join EGC??

We don't have a lot of rules for joining EGC. That was pretty much the purpose of the clan's creation. What we do request though is that you create a user account here and give us some info about yourself. Also, before you request the EGC tag, please spend some time in the game and let us get to know you and you get to know us.
When you are ready to apply for the tag, log into the site here and fill out the "EGC Tag application" on the left column of the front page.

We also ask that you follow the server rules posted on the web site front page. They aren't anything out of the normal and they are really designed to let everyone have fun.
One of the things some of us hear every once in a while is that some of us are hackers or are cheating. I can personally assure you, none of the frequent EGC member players use any cheats or hacks. Most of us have been playing for many years and like anything, practice makes you better. If you are new to the game and would like help, don't be afraid to ask. We were all there once.
Some hints you should keep in mind while playing:
- DON'T stand still. You would think this is obvious but it's probably the most common mistake.
- There is a red laser that will show where a kill shot came from so DON'T hang around because it's the first place the guy you killed will be looking when he comes back.
- Turn your flashlight off! It's a "Here I am, kill me" sign!
