Yeah, lots of good stuff on that site.
I use the fps enhancer because I have such an old rig.
I went thru the whole process of assigning keys on my kyboard, mouse...changing crosshairs....pretty crazy adjusting to the changes.

I wish there was a progressive zoom, or perhaps 3 or 4 levels of zoom, using different ones depending on the map.

But as far as aiming with the mag and such, there's an interaction with your mouse resolution/speed. I think it explains why we seem to be better shots from a distance.
