Tips for changing x-hairs in win7

Ok, this is a little bit weird but it works super, and random updates will not futz it up...

Open your x-hairs zip or rar and create a new folder, say on your desktop, C:/windiows/user/Your name for the machine here/desktop.

Open windows explorer, go to C:windows/fonts, and copy the ttf files,(ie: halflife2.ttf) to the icons folder, and when it asks permission to over right click yes/confirm.

Reboot if necessary, go back into c:/windows/fonts and find the fonts you insalled here and right click on them, and click the read only check box, save and you are ready to use your new x-hairs!
